Northeast Georgia Farm to School in the Braselton News!

Two Fridays ago, Northeast Georgia Farm to School and Jackson County Farm to School teamed up to table at the Braselton Farmers Market. We served some delicious samples of a refreshing drink: Blueberry Basil Smoothie Lemonade, with organic local Blueberries from Rhonda’s Blueberries and organic local thai basil grown at South Jackson Elementary School by their farm to school program.

The refreshment was a huge hit! People (kids included) came back for seconds, and the community was very excited to learn more about a local farm to school program. We even got a full page story in The Braselton News! Check it out here.
